The makers
La Riviera, California. Est. 2026.
Two wildlife biologists who are trying something new in these crazy times.
We spend our working lives counting, collaring, and arguing about these animals — pronghorn, elk, mule deer, and everything with fins or six legs that we grew up obsessing over instead of doing homework. AxeWolf started as a way to put that anatomy somewhere other than a survey report.
Knowing the animals is the part we actually bring to this. We know what a bull elk’s neck does in September, which shell a nautilus grows and which one it doesn’t, and how many toes belong on a pronghorn. If a scapula ends up in the wrong place, we would like to know.
