We engrave it into hardwood at full tonal depth — the grain does the shading, so the finished panel looks lit from inside. It is the piece people come back to us for.
Pricing
Two parts, and one you only pay once
The artwork and the object are priced separately, because the artwork keeps its value after the first piece is made.
Paid once, ever
Digitization — $50
We take the photo or photos you send and build an engraving-ready image of your pet from them. This is the part that takes judgement, and it is where most of the work sits.

- We keep the file — every future piece of the same pet reuses it
Per piece
The portrait — $50
An engraved, routed, sanded and stained hardwood panel. Poplar is included in that price; other woods are an upgrade.

One you love, or several to choose from
Have the shot already? Send it. Can’t pick just one? Send several and we compose a single portrait from them — the head from one, the posture from another.

Digitization — $50
We build the engraving file
This is where the portrait is actually made. You approve a proof before anything touches the laser.

Poplar, cherry, maple, walnut or mahogany
Each one takes the engraving differently. See all five side by side — same portrait, same settings, five woods.
